The Annual Sports Day 2025 of Trinity Public School was a spectacular celebration of athleticism, sportsmanship, and school spirit. Held on the school's sprawling sports ground, the event witnessed unprecedented enthusiasm with over 500 students participating across 20+ events spanning track & field, team sports, and fun activities.
A Day Full of Energy and Excitement
The day began with the ceremonial march past by all classes, led by the school band. Principal Tahseen Mahmood inaugurated the event by lighting the Sports Day torch, followed by the school motto recitation. The atmosphere was electric as students, teachers, and parents gathered to celebrate physical excellence.
Highlights of the event included the 100m sprint final, the inter-house relay race, the tug-of-war competition, and the much-anticipated parents vs teachers cricket match that drew thunderous applause from the audience.
Winners and Achievements
The Blue House claimed the overall championship trophy for the second consecutive year, edging out Red House in the final tally. Several students broke school records in athletics events including the long jump (new record: 4.8m) and the 400m race.
"Sports Day is one of my favourite days of the year. It teaches our students that success comes through discipline, hard work, and teamwork — values that are as important in life as they are on the sports field." — Principal Tahseen Mahmood
Prizes and Recognition
The chief guest for the event, a district sports officer, distributed medals and trophies to the winning students. Special recognition was given to students who participated in state and district level competitions and brought laurels to the school.
The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony and cultural performances by students, followed by a group photograph of all participants. Sports Day 2025 was a resounding success that will be cherished in the memories of all who attended.
