Trinity Public School's flagship STEAM Laboratory, fondly known as "Aerobay," has received a transformative upgrade that positions it among the most well-equipped school science labs in North 24 Parganas. The new additions include advanced robotics kits, dual-colour 3D printers, enhanced coding stations, and a dedicated maker space.
What's New in Aerobay 2.0?
The upgraded lab features state-of-the-art equipment carefully selected to align with the National Education Policy 2020's emphasis on experiential and hands-on learning. Students from Class III onwards will now have access to age-appropriate STEAM activities under expert guidance.
Key additions include Arduino and Raspberry Pi kits for electronics and IoT projects, VR headsets for immersive science learning, a dedicated green screen studio for digital storytelling, and a 3D printing station for design and prototyping.
Impact on Learning
Academic Director Mr. Manan Ojha shared his vision: "We want every Trinity student to not just learn about technology but to create with it. Aerobay 2.0 gives them that power — to build, experiment, fail, and discover. That's real education."
"The new 3D printer is amazing! I designed a model of the solar system and actually printed it. This is the most exciting class ever!" — Arjun, Class VII
Student Projects
In the first week of Aerobay 2.0's launch, students have already completed impressive projects including a line-following robot, a smart dustbin with ultrasonic sensor, and a weather monitoring station that displays real-time temperature and humidity data.
Parents and guardians are welcome to visit Aerobay 2.0 during the next Open House session to see their children's innovations firsthand.
